Depends on what you plot to do with it?
If for Emails, Messenger, Book Reader, App’s then iPad is excellent. It has No CD/DVD RW ROM no USB Ports in many way your Macbook PRO (MBP) is superior to it. If you plot to use it for what I stated then it’s excellent enough and you don’t need a iPod Touch (IPT).
If your main goal is to have portable and a lot of App’s then get a IPT.
If your main goal is Book Reader like the Bible I had seen on it was WOW. You can highlight, add notes, do comparisons of scriptures, and of course book-mark several pages. Then get the iPad so it really depends on your needs and do consider what will you use it for in the future and for how long you want to use it.
Recommendation is go to the http//www.apple.com look at the products iPod Touch and iPad once more and reckon of the specs on them. Maybe mark down what interests you like a Pro’s and Con’s list for each of them. Unless you already have a plot of action to update them. Now they both have this in-common No CD/DVD RW ROM & No USB Ports.
